Hadid Majan LLC is promoted by His Highness Sayyid Barghash Said Mohammad Al Said, who is also the Chairman of the company. Barghash Said Mohammad Al Said is a person of repute and well respected in the society. This company bears ample testimony of its Chairman’s vision of participating in the industrial development and progress of Sultanate of Oman.

The factory is located in Rusayl Industrial Estate and commenced commercial production in 2003. It’s a hot rolling mill and uses steel billets as raw material. In par with the technology development, the company also does upgradation of its products time to time, hence in the market there is a sustained acceptance of its TMT Bars which is branded as MSBS. Presently the products are conforming to the Grade 500 B as per the latest BS 4449:2005 standard. Products as per the other standards like ASTM and SASO are also available against the customer requirement. Quality of the steel bars is assured by stringent inspection and testing methods with sophisticated machines. It is manned by a thoroughbred team of Engineers, skilled workers and allied professionals.

In the first phase of the project, the mill capacity was 60,000 TPY (tones per year) only. Considering the growing demand for the high quality rebar products, the second phase of the project has been commissioned in the end of 2011. It comprises a Continuous Rolling Mill with 55 mtr long Automatic Cooling Bed. Now the total production capacity has been enhanced to 210,000 TPY. The product range is from 8mm to 32mm TMT Bars.
